Mike Rebholz is an architectural photographer who lives in
Madison, where a subculture of people gathers on the lakes for about ten weeks
in the winter season for ice fishing.
Their shacks are the subjects for an intriguing photo series. This exhibition is part of the prize
awarded to Mike as winner of last year’s National Juried Photography Exhibition
sponsored by CPM at the Steenbock Gallery. Juror was Graeme Reid, Assistant Director at the Museum of
Wisconsin Art in West Bend.
The Steenbock Gallery is located at 1922 University Avenue in
Madison. An opening reception will be held on Friday, February 15 from 6 to 9
pm. This exhibit continues
through March 29, 2013. Normal
hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
